Blog Post 1
My aunt has recently adopted a dog that has been previously abused by its owners. Her usage to her previous owner was to offer more puppies, and thus to keep her silent sometimes, they removed her vocal cords. Due to malnutrition, her jaw has shriveled up causing her unable to eat regularly and thus we have to mush food up to feed her. I believe that she is very traumatized by her previous life, because every time someone new rushes towards her, she cowards back to her little temple of pillows and mattresses. Once you get to understand her and know her, she turns out to be quite loving and enjoys the company of a few family members. What bugs me is that people still abuse animals today and I wonder how they do it without guilt. I am quite disappointed that nothing was done to her previous owner, though I am happy that she lives in a better place now.
